Italian authorities have seized assets worth seven million euros ($9.3 million) from a suspected ‘Ndrangheta clan operating in the northern city of Turin in the Piedmont region as reported by ANSA. The ‘Ndrangheta is based in Italy’s southern Calabria region but in recent years has been laundering its dirty money from the cocaine trade through front businesses and property purchases inthe country’s more affluent northern regions including Lombardy and Piedmont.
